Our Business

Andy Fisk uses his fishing vessel the Bear paw to harvest dungeness crab, spot prawns and coon stripe shrimp. all of these are caught using pots attatched to a line and bouy. as the pots come up Andy and Josh take the catch and immediately put it in our refrigerated seawater hold. When you buy our seafood from us at the dock we scoop the live shrimp, prawns or crab from the hold, weigh it and then package it in a box with an ice pack. There is absolutley no fresher seafood anywhere..

 Capt. Andy Fisk started his fishing career at age 15 set netting for salmon with his godparents in Alaska. Oops another lost soul stolen by the sea. 30 years later, after fishing from almost every seaport for any thing that crawled or swam, from the Bering sea to the southern Oregon coast. He now has the delight of operating his fishing business with his wonderful wife and daughter, Sandy and Cassie and invaluable 1st mate (for the past 14 years) josh Meads. Its a great team! Our company name was derived from an insufferably grumpy (heart of gold) old man named Jack Collins whom Andy had the good fortune of learning and buying the shrimp business from. Thank you Jack!
